My Dear Italia 
I didn’t know about the purple, and when my sister was little I told her often about the starving children in Africa too and she hated it. And we don’t even have any Italians in the family! 😀

Yeah, Italian people who work in the showbiz are VERY superstitious.
It must be something all Europeans say, then xD

Interesting! In Asia, we did not gift Chrysanthemums either. Similar to Italian, we consider chrysanthemums (especially the yellow one) are for deceased people. The same goes for white lilies, we usually gift them to people who underwent a surgery 🙂

That’s so interesting! A Japanese girl told me that, for them, Chrysantemums are kind of sacred as they are a symbol of the imperial family…it’s funny to see how customs change according to the country 🙂
